There has been conflict amongst themselves in many matters of the world. Which today divides the world into two parts.

It was during this time that the true form of the Cold War emerged. The differences between the US and the Soviet Union began to appear openly, at this time there are major events promoting the Cold War.

(1) In 1946, British Prime Minister Churchill criticized the communism of the Soviet Union. He emphasized the need to strengthen the Anglo-American alliance at a place called Fulton in America. In this, anti-Soviet sentiment clearly emerged. The US Senate also described the foreign policy of the Soviet Union as aggressive and expansionist. Which gave more strength to the Cold War.

(2) In March 1947, it was said by the Truman Doctrine to stop the spread of communist thought. According to this principle, US intervention in any part of the world was justified. In Greece, Turkey, the US intervened and accepted to form an organization to reduce the influence of the Soviet Union. America instigated the Cold War and disturbed world peace by trying to intervene in the name of economic aid.

On 23 April 1947, America's Marshall Plan also promoted a feeling of distrust and animosity in the minds of the Soviet Union. According to this plan, a program to provide financial assistance of $ 12 billion to Western European countries was accepted. Its main objective was to stop the spread of communism in Western European countries. The condition was imposed on the countries taking advantage of this scheme that they would keep the communists away from their governance system. (6) Formation of NATO In 1949, America with the help of its allies formed a military union like NATO. Its purpose was to effectively deal with any external threat to maintain peace in the North Atlantic region. In this treaty, the Soviet Union was given a direct warning that if it attacked any country involved in the treaty, it would have dire consequences. This deepened the differences between the US and the Soviet Union.

(7) With the establishment of communist government in China in October 1940, the opposition to America became more. He challenged the membership of Communist China in the United Nations. Due to this, the atmosphere of cold war in the Soviet Union and America started getting stronger.

The Korean War was resolved, but the situation of mutual conflict between the two superpowers persisted.

(9) In 1951, when the Korean War was going on, at the same time America, along with its allies, made a peace treaty with Japan and decided to organize a conference in the city of San Francisco to make the treaty work. The Soviet Union strongly opposed this conference. The US deepened the gap of opposition by entering into a defense treaty with Japan this year. These actions of America promoted the feeling of hatred in the mind of the Soviet Union, these treaties were considered by the Soviet Union as the biggest obstacle in the expansion of communism and condemned it.

During this time, there was a possibility of some change in the behavior of both the superpowers. There was a change in the leadership of both the countries in this era. After the death of Stalin in the Soviet Union, Khrushchev took over and in America, President Eisen Hower took over the reins of governance. Attempts were made by the Soviet Union to establish cordial relations between the two countries, but they did not yield any positive results and the Cold War tensions continued between America and the Soviet Union. But on May 1, 1960, a day before the trip, the US spy plane U-2 was caught spying on the Soviet border. The pilot admitted that he had been sent to spy on military bases in the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union took this seriously and asked America to accept its mistake. But America did not accept its mistake and gave more force to the Cold War.

(8) At the Paris conference on 16 May 1960, Soviet President Khrushchev repeated the incident of U-2 and said that in future the US President was also warned not to come to the Soviet Union.
